Winter's Snowman
Another Ackerman cold-hardy hybrid — a sixteen-year seedling producing white semi-double blooms with twenty-two petaloids.
Part of Dr. William L. Ackerman's 'Winter's' series of cold-hardy camellias from his USDA breeding program in Ashton, Maryland. This sixteen-year seedling produces semi-double flowers with ten petals and twenty-two petaloids in white with yellow anthers and creamy filaments.
