A large cyclamen-to-deep-rose semi-double to anemone from New Zealand — gold stamens and an RHS Award of Merit in 1986.
Originated by B.J. Rayner of Stratford, New Zealand, as a chance seedling of C. saluenensis. The large semi-double to anemone-form flowers of 13 cm display cyclamen to deep rose with gold-colored stamens and ten or more petals with a varying number of petaloids. Growth is open and upright with dark green leaves. Received the RHS Award of Merit in 1986. Photographed in Macoboy's The Colour Dictionary of Camellias (1981). Listed locally as 'Wynne Raynor' and registered as 'Wynne Rayner.' Source: International Camellia Register.
