Originated by Paul Gilley of Grandridge, Florida, this five-year seedling first bloomed in 1974 and was registered in 1979. The formal double flowers pack an extraordinary one hundred petals — placing it among the most densely petaled japonicas ever registered — in white variegation on upright growth at average rate with dark green foliage.
