Originated by Mrs. Mary Edinger at Rosebud Farm in Sacramento, California — one of the mid-century California nurseries that helped popularize camellias on the West Coast. The medium-sized semi-double flowers display white streaked with light red, blooming mid-season on compact growth. First listed in The Camellia Bulletin in 1949.
