Originated by Dr. Walter Homeyer of Macon, Georgia — a dedicated breeder who contributed several cultivars to the ACS register — this six-year seedling was registered in 1997. The red semi-double flowers feature thirty-eight petals with yellow anthers on upright, dense growth at medium rate with dark green foliage. First published in the American Camellia Yearbook.
