Muriel Davis
A 110-petaled white formal double from a remarkably fast four-year seedling — seed to first bloom in half the typical time.
Originated in Gainesville, Florida, as a remarkably fast-developing four-year seedling — most camellia seedlings take eight to fifteen years to first bloom. The formal double flowers pack 110 petals in white, an exceptionally dense arrangement. Growth is upright, dense, and rapid with light green leaves. First published in the American Camellia Yearbook. Listed locally as 'Muriel Davis' and registered as 'Turner Davis.' Source: International Camellia Register.
