A large dark red loose peony form with stamens dispersed among the petals and heavy petal texture — fifteen years from seed in Jacksonville.
Originated by John Rumbach of Jacksonville, Florida, this fifteen-year seedling of unknown parentage first flowered in 2007. The large dark red loose peony-form flowers feature stamens with yellow anthers and white filaments dispersed throughout the petals, with notably heavy petal texture. Growth is spreading and dense at average rate with dark green foliage. Registered and propagated by Loch Laurel Nurseries of Valdosta, Georgia.
