A virus-variegated sport of 'Kōbotan' (Benibotan) registered in 1859 — rose-pink spotted and blotched white, carrying at least nine synonyms.
A virus-variegated form of 'Kōbotan' (Benibotan), originating in Japan's Kantō District and registered in 1859. The peony-form flowers display rose-pink spotted and blotched with white in the characteristic virus-induced pattern. This cultivar carries an unusually large number of synonyms: 'Beauty of Holland,' 'C.P. Morgan,' 'Doris Madalia,' 'Herme-Sport,' 'Herme Sport Number 2,' 'Princess Lucille,' 'Herme Variegated,' 'Hikarugenji Variegated,' and 'Herme Variant.'
