Gus Manard
A large loose white peony form with canary-yellow petaloids from New Orleans — featured on the cover of The Camellia Journal.
Originated by Ernest E. Judice of New Orleans, Louisiana, this ten-year chance seedling first bloomed in 1958. The large loose peony-form flowers measure 12.5 cm with a distinctive feature — canary-yellow petaloids among the white petals, creating an eye-catching two-tone effect. Featured on the front cover of The Camellia Journal (1962). Growth is upright at average density with dark green serrated foliage. Listed locally as 'Gus Manard.'
