Doc Glauser

A large light pink semi-double from Quitman, Georgia, with coloring similar to 'Mona Monique' and an early bloom season.
Originated by C.E. Glausier of Quitman, Georgia, this eight-year chance seedling first bloomed in 1965 and was registered in 1967. The large semi-double flowers measure 12 cm across with fourteen petals in light pink — color described as similar to 'Mona Monique' — with gold anthers and white filaments. An early bloomer with medium growth and dark green foliage. Listed locally as 'Doc Glauser.' Source: International Camellia Register.
