Lucille Dixon

Lucille Dixon
A North Augusta chance seedling with uniformly reflexed petals and a tubular center of yellow anthers — a distinctive architectural bloom form.
Originated by James D. Dickson of North Augusta, South Carolina, this chance seedling first flowered in 1995 and displays a distinctive architectural quality: uniformly reflexed petals surrounding a tubular center of yellow anthers and white filaments, with a pink cast that softens the white ground. The nine-centimeter flowers bloom on upright, dense growth at average rate with dark green foliage. Listed locally as 'Lucille Dixon' and registered as 'Lucile Dickson.'
