Originated by Hulyn Smith of Georgia as a mutant of 'Carter's Sunburst Pink' — part of the prolific Carter's Sunburst sport family that has produced numerous named color variants. The very large semi-double to peony form flowers measure thirteen-and-a-half centimeters across in pale pink striped a deeper pink, with a distinctive four-millimeter white border on each petal that creates a picotee-like edge effect. Growth is average in density at medium rate with light medium-green leaves. Flowers over an exceptionally long season from early to late. Source: International Camellia Register.
