Best known through its virus-variegated sport, 'Carol Humphrey Variegated,' which produces striking large blooms in medium red dramatically blotched with white — a coloration highly prized among exhibition growers. The solid form features rose-form double to formal double arrangement with prominent golden yellow stamens and white filaments. Growth is vigorous, dense, and upright with attractive dark green foliage, flowering mid-season. Documented in the ACS Encyclopedia and the International Camellia Register.
