Moonshadow

A pure white semi-double from Magnolia Gardens with about twenty central stamens intermixed with petaloids — sometimes varying to incomplete double.
First listed in the Magnolia Gardens and Nursery Catalogue of 1942–1943 and more fully described by Fendig in 1953: a medium-sized pure white semi-double, sometimes varying to incomplete double, nine-and-a-half centimeters across. The round outer petals frame a center of about twenty stamens with white filaments and yellow anthers intermixed with five to six petaloids. Leaves are dark green, narrowly elliptic, with stiff texture and obscure venation. Listed locally as 'Moonshadow' and registered as 'Moon Glow.' Source: International Camellia Register.
