Mockingbird Blush
A mid-century pink-and-white rose-form double originated by Hearn — one of the early American breeders of the 1940s.
First documented in the 1942 SCCS Classification of Camellias as 'pink, blotched white, medium size, rose form double,' this cultivar was originated by Hearn in the USA during the early flowering of American camellia breeding. Detailed information on growth habit and parentage has not survived in the primary sources. Listed locally as 'Mockingbird Blush' and registered as 'Morning Blush.'
