Stephen's Garden

Stephen's Garden
A 100-petaled pink formal double from Bobby Green — first flowered in 1965 but not registered until 2008, waiting over four decades.
Originated by Bobby Green of Fairhope, Alabama — a nurseryman and camellia authority who grew and evaluated this seedling for over four decades before registering it in 2008. The formal double flowers pack 100 petals in light pink shading darker at the slightly reflexed edges. Growth is upright and vigorous, blooming mid-season to late. Listed locally as 'Stephen's Garden' and registered as 'Stephens Garden.' Source: International Camellia Register.
