Busy Bees Tea

A true tea plant (C. sinensis) offered as an ornamental — miniature white singles on a vigorous, spreading shrub with large leaves.
A Camellia sinensis cultivar — the species from which commercial tea is produced — selected and offered as an ornamental by CamelliaShop of Savannah, Georgia. The miniature white single flowers provide delicate bloom on a vigorous, upright, spreading plant with notably large leaves. Documented in the ACS Yearbook in 2011, it bridges the worlds of ornamental and agricultural camellia culture. Listed locally as 'Busy Bees Tea.' Source: International Camellia Register.
