Pepperhill Peppermint
A small pink formal double with red veins and red stripes — thirteen years from seed to first bloom in Auburn, Alabama.
Originated by Tom Corley of Auburn, Alabama, and registered by the Auburn-Opelika Men's Camellia Club — one of the active regional camellia societies in the Southeast. This thirteen-year chance seedling first bloomed in 2013, producing small formal double flowers of 6.35 cm in pink with red veins and red stripes. The blooms are described as profuse, long-lasting, with heavy petal texture and consistent form. Listed locally as 'Pepperhill Peppermint' and registered as 'Pebble Hill Peppermint.'
