Missie Bessie Beville

A 103-petaled pink formal double — among the highest petal counts in the collection, from a fourteen-year seedling.
Originated by W.F. Homeyer Jr. as a fourteen-year seedling, this cultivar is notable for packing 103 petals into its formal double flowers — an extraordinarily dense arrangement even by exhibition standards. Growth is spreading, open, and of medium rate with dark green leaves. First published in the American Camellia Yearbook. Listed locally as 'Missie Bessie Beville' and registered as 'Miss Bessie Beville.' Source: International Camellia Register.
