A large white peony to rose-form double streaked and striped red, introduced by the Domoto Nursery from a private Walnut Creek garden.
Originated in a private garden in Walnut Creek, California, and introduced commercially by the Domoto Nursery. The large flowers range from loose peony to rose-form double in white striped and streaked with red. Growth is medium, upright, and bushy. First listed in the Nuccio's Nurseries Catalogue (1950–1951) and Judice's Nursery catalogue (1951–1952). Known in China as 'Neili Nüshi.' Listed locally as 'Miss Nellie Eastman' and registered as 'Mrs Nellie Eastman.' Source: International Camellia Register.
