Lindsey in Pink
A pink chance seedling of 'Lady in Red' from the Florida Panhandle — the color reversed but the form retained.
Originated by Paul Gilley of Grand Ridge, Florida — a small Panhandle community that produced several registered camellia cultivars. This chance seedling of 'Lady in Red' reverses its parent's color, bearing pink semi-double flowers with twenty petals and yellow anthers instead of red. Growth is upright at medium rate with dark green leaves, flowering early to mid-season. Listed locally as 'Lindsey in Pink (Gene Phillips)' and registered as 'Lady in Pink.'
