In-the-Pink

In-the-Pink
A rose-pink Kramer Bros. formal double that has sported twice — producing both a variegated form and a red form.
Originated by Kramer Bros. Nursery of Upland, California, this chance seedling was registered in 1971. The medium rose-pink formal to rose-form double flowers bloom mid-season to late. The cultivar has proven sport-prone, producing both 'In the Pink Variegated' and 'In the Red.' Extensively photographed in the American Camellia Yearbook and Macoboy's Colour Dictionary of Camellias, and featured on the front cover of The Camellia Review (1974).
